Project #18 Magritte Painted Bottles

The artist Rene Magritte often used with a technique called "trompe l'oeil" meaning "to deceive the eye".  He painted common bottles to look like something they were not such as a sky with clouds or a person.  

Using a discarded glass bottle as a painting surface- clean and dry the bottle, spray the bottle with a matte white spray paint, one or two coats.  Sketch your idea directly onto the bottle or sketch out some ideas on paper and choose which one you like the best then apply to the bottle.  Paint with acrylics.
