Drawing Portraits Workshop, Saturday July 21, 2018

Ink and colored pencil on paper.

This workshop is for beginning artists or artists who would like to hone their portrait techniques.  We will work on both graphite and colored pencil drawings.  I tend to add acrylic glazes to parts of my colored pencil drawings and will demonstrate how to do that.

Participants are welcome to work on drawings of people or animals.

The workshop is on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10 am to 4 pm. Participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch and work through lunch, I will be there working, or go out for an hour.  There will be short demos during the workshop and a lot of time for individual attention.  The workshop is limited to four participants.

The $55 fee includes papers, small claybord and a small wood panel.  I will demonstrate the pros and of these surfaces: papers, mylar, Yupo, claybord and wood panel.  Also included are a Tombow pencil and an eraser.  Participants have access to colored pencils and acrylic glaze materials.  Please bring your favorite pencils and brushes to work with if you have them.

Cold brew coffee, hot tea and cookies will be provided.

To reserve a space please contact me at lisa@lisaqualls.com.  My studio is in Durward Neighborhood in Tallahassee, FL.
