Artist Resume

I am a professional artist who has been an art educator for 40 years.  I have taught classroom art and art history in private and public schools. I have taught private lessons and small classes/workshops in my own studio as well as in museums and other venues.  I owned and operated a private art summer camp in Houston, TX for three years.

I have a BA and a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin.  I studied textile design and furniture restoration at the Fashion Institute of Technology and ceramics at Parsons in New York and had specialized training in mosaics in Ravenna, Italy.  

My artwork is in private and corporate collections in the Americas, Europe and Africa. Twenty-two of my graphite Southern Portraits are in the permanent collection of the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, LA.
